The Problem
Maintaining separate documents for participants and facilitators was causing several issues:
- mismatched page numbers
- twice the updates
- out-of-date content
The Goal
Use one document for both facilitator and participant content where both can be updated simultaneously
How I Did It
Using the hidden text feature in Microsoft Word, I developed a document template that hides facilitator-only content while creating the document. Then, simply hiding or showing some content when printing would yield either a participant guide or a facilitator guide.
