The Problem
Different training groups across a global organization were designing their own training materials in different ways using nonstandard software, resulting in:
- inconsistent learning across the organization
- nonstandard look and feel
- editing and update issues
The Goal
Gain commitment from each training organization to use a standard template and methodology for designing training materials.
How I Did It
By leveraging our online DocuTools Gallery, I developed a document template for all training manuals, as well as a Document Parts gallery accessible to all training organizations.
To assist in ease-of-use and increase adoption rate, I also developed a multi-part video tutorial on how to use the new templates and Document Parts gallery.
